Undercover Of The (Two) Nights

  • Written by  Danielle Gibson

The Undercover Festival has announced Dreadzone as its headline act for Friday September 20. Undercover is a new and exciting independent festival for Surrey which will take place over Friday September 20 and Saturday 21.  Dreadzone are celebrating 20 years as a band with the release of their 7th studio album Escapades. They formed in 1993 when ex-Big Audio Dynamite drummer Greg Roberts teamed up with Tim Bran and were soon joined by bassist Leo Williams and keyboardist Dan Donovan completing the group’s first line-up.

A festival favourite, Dreadzone opened the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 1994 and began to bring their unique blend of electro, dub and reggae to a wider audience, going on to chart seven Top 60 singles (including their Top 20 hit ‘Little Britain’).  Along with Dreadzone, the Undercover Festival boasts amongst its complete line-up The Cockney Rejects, The Skints, The Glitter Band, 999, Stone Foundation, Chelsea, TV Smith and many more.

Tickets for the Undercover Festival are £45 for both days and for more information on purchasing those and further details about the event click here.
