Lail Arad Shares New Track 'Lay Down'

Singer-songwriter Lail Arad has announced the release of her second album The Onion and new single 'Lay Down'. 

The Onion is the follow-up to Lail’s 2011 debut and was co-produced between a snowy winter in Geneva and a summer heat wave in New York City. The new LP will be released on Friday April 15 digitally and on vinyl through The Vinyl Factory. London bookshop The Society Club will also publishing a limited edition Lyrics Book for the release, with exclusive text and photographs.

'Lay Down' will be released via The Vinyl Factory with the video, which follows Lail on a nighttime walk through the city, premiering soon. You can check it out now below:

 

The Feeling, Peter Hook & The Light and Many More Announced for Watchet 2016

WATCHETLIVE C.I.C, the organisers of Watchet Live Festival have announced the first wave of acts for this year’s fest.

The Feeling, Peter Hook & The Light, Neville Staple Band, 3 Daft Monkeys and many more are now confirmed for this, the festival's '10th Birthday Party'. With many more acts still to be announced.

Headlining on Saturday are pop-rock band The Feeling and they will be joined by Joy Division and New Order Bassist Peter Hook, along with his band The Light.

Being Watchet Festival’s 10th birthday party, the organisers have decided to invite back bands who have provided some of the most memorable moments over the festival’s first decade.

Friday will see the return of Geno Washington and the 70’s Soul stars, The Real Thing. Saturday will provide Neville Staple Band with Sunday hosting a ‘homecoming’ from two much-loved ‘Watchet favourites’; Dreadzone and 3 Daft Monkeys.


Whatchet Live Festival is a three day event at Parsonage Farm in Watchet, taking place from Friday August 28 to Sunday 30 2016.
