Colorado fuzz-rockers The Velveteers have released their brand new video for EP highlight ‘Anastasia Sings’; a horror-fuelled theatrical nightmare-scape that serves as a perfect visual accompaniment to their psychedelic leanings.
Dramatically harnessing the best of bands like The Kills and The Dead Weather, The Velveteers create raw and aggressive grunge with blues-rock roots and a powerhouse vocal from front-woman Demi Demitro. Double drummers John Demitro and Adrian Pottersmith provide a rhythm section beyond any of their contemporaries with watertight precision and force that simply needs to be experienced live.
Having already earned plaudits from the like of Los Angeles duo Deap Vally, who had them support before they’d even released a single, The Velveteers just finished their biggest UK tour to date.
