Bleeding Heart Pigeons Play Intimate Show In Whelan’s Upstairs

Bleeding Heart Pigeons are a three piece from West Limerick who play well-crafted pop songs that are filtered and layered with heavy synths, feedback and delay. The band, consisting of Mícheál Keating (vocals/guitar), Cathal Histon (synths, samples and vocals) and Brendan McInerney (drums) have been together as a band for eight years.
Their debut album Is (produced by Keating)and mixed by David Wrench (Caribou, Jape, FKA Twigs, Frank Ocean, The XX) was released on Virgin Records. Following the release the band toured Europe as support to Andrew Bird, also playing support shows to Pixies and Father John Misty. The band are currently working on a follow up album which will be released during 2017.
