Sinderins Share New Track Ahead of Upcoming LP

Dundee based band Sinderins have revealed a new track, ‘Fayre’.

The single is energetic and cheerful, with an uplifting tone with vocalist, David Webster, highlighting his incredible vocal range.

On 'Fayre', David Webster hits and sustains a high note across four bars. Initial attempts to record this fell short so, channeling something he had read about Thom Yorke leaping into a fjord, Webster asked his band mates to douse him in ice water before he ran to the mic.  That first take is the one that was used on the final record.

‘Fayre’ is taken from Sinderins upcoming album and will be available at all the usual places from Friday May 13 with the album soon to follow in June.

Charlotte Carpenter Announces New EP for Summer

Rising singer, songwriter and guitarist Charlotte Carpenter is set to release her How Are We Ever To Know EP this June

Currently streaming on SoundCloud is the new EPs opener ‘Am I Alone In This’ which offers a first look in what’s to come. Charlotte said: "This song was the beginning of a journey; a first glimpse of a relationship where cracks and strains were beginning show.

“I was very much inside my own head, I was too scared to voice my worries, doubts and fears and it left me feeling lonely and isolated. I was frustrated with myself for not being brave enough to speak up.”

How Are We Ever To Know is due out on Charlottes own label Let It Go Records, on Friday June 10. Charlotte said: “This EP is chronological of what happened during the demise of my first serious relationship.”

“Each track expresses a different shade, colour or feeling right from before the break up happened to months after.”
