FLUFFERFEST Announces 2015 line-up

Flufferfest is returning for a second round at The Shacklewell Arms  this May with a monumental line-up

The independent UK Record label Fluffer Records have announced the bill for the weekend and it kicks off with the labelsfirst signing and brutal disco-garage duo, Love Buzzard, supported by hyped noise rockers, Dressmaker.

On Saturday grunge rockers and co-founders of Raft RecordsLOOM headline above a showcase of new garage and psych bands making waves around the UK, including Fluffer’s very own Sewer Rats. USA Nails bring their own blend of kraut/noise whilst Terminal Gods promise a wave of machine beats and a hurricane of dry ice. Bands such as Riddles, The Night Jars, Baba Naga and H. Grimace keep the three day fest rooted in psych-rock.

Sunday sees a powerhouse line-up including The Telescopes, Demob Happy and Taman Shud, all providing a thrash of modern garage rock whilst M!R!M and Bonfire Nights break up the noise with more laid back, transcendental Sunday vibes.

Flufferfest will also be curating an acoustic line-up for The Shacklewell Arms beer garden for those looking to rest their ears between the wall of feedback inside.

Dutch Uncles Announce New Single 'Upsilon'

Manchester art pop group Dutch Uncles return with new single ‘Upsilon’, expected Tuesday May 19 via Memphis Industries.

“’Upsilon’ is about an overdramatic decision to quit Facebook or MySpace because, when you're young, you don't always have the capacity to see other people's lives (or the bits they want to show you at least) for what they really are,” explains lead vocalist Duncan Wallis. “This is also a result of the immense peer pressure to join in with the flirt of social media.”

'Upsilon' is backed by a new b-side, 'Realm', which is streaming exclusively via NME.com now.

You can listen to 'Upsilon' now via Soundcloud.

Dutch Uncles are set to perform an array of live shows including their biggest headline shows to date at the Ritz in Manchester this Friday (Friday March 27) and Koko in London on Friday April 10.
