This Is The Kit reveal new video for 'Cold and Got Colder'

This Is The Kit have just shared their video for new track, 'Cold and Got Colder' .

On the video, singer Kate said:

“Often in life we're struck by the struggle.

"Our own struggles and also witnessing the struggles of others.

"Making this video was kind of a performance/personal process/nod to anyone who has ever had to carry a canoe across land and through the amazon jungle, literally or metaphorically.

"The song itself is about the toll that gets taken on someone whose life and work takes them away from home/family and then throws them back again and then tugs them away again and throws them a few canoes to carry in with the bargain.

"Sometimes we need a rest and a swim.”

Michael Nau shares new video for debut single 'Love Survive'

Michael Nau has shared a video for his debut single, ‘Love Survive’.

The new track, which is released tomorrow Friday August 26, features backing-vocals from Michael’s wife and bandmate Whitney McGraw. It is taken from the Appalachian singer-songwriter’s debut album Mowing, which will be released on Friday November 18 via Full Time Hobby.

On the animated created by Robert Wallace, he said: "’Love Survive’ is a light-hearted summery track, filled with personality and quirks.

“The video captures this mood, jumping between animated loops that move in time with the music.

“Set on a fictional island, the video explores the different aspects of nature there.

“Instead of a story-based narrative, the video expresses the feeling of the song, its rhythms and moods.

“To capture the organic sound, all of the animations were kept loose.

“The process used a mixture of real and digital brushes as well as hand painted texture loops to give the whole thing a handcrafted aesthetic."
